Destiny 2: Where is Xur for the weekend of November 25

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items every Friday, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is, as well as a list of his wares.

Who is Xur?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week.

Where to find Xur (November 25 to November 29)

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET reset each Friday. The question is where Xur will be. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map. He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

Xur is fortunately pretty easy to find this week. You can find him in the Tower over in the Hangar. Run to the right side of the map and run under the building housing Future War Cult. Head to the northern edge of the map and run up the flight of stairs there. You’ll find Xur hanging out right at the top of that first staircase, next to the next flight of stairs.

Here is the exact location:

Xur’s wares for this week

Wardcliff Coil – 29 Legendary Shards: Do you consider yourself an agent of chaos? Then Wardcliff Coil is the heavy weapon for you. This exotic rocket launcher fires a “volley of rockets,” which is a refined way of saying “it rains havoc down on your enemies.”

Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: Celestial Nighthawk is a must-have exotic for PVE players. This helmet changes your Golden Gun super to fire one powerful shot, instead of three smaller ones. Any enemies you kill with the shot will grant you super energy. This is best used for taking huge chunks of health out of bosses quickly.

One-Eyed Mask (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: One-Eyed Mask is an exotic helmet that will basically turn your Titan into the Predator. Whenever an opponent damages you, they’ll become marked. If you can hunt down and defeat your marked enemy, you’ll gain increased damage and an overshield.

Apotheosis Veil (Warlocks) – 23 Legendary Shards: Supers are the best way to turn the tide of battle, and Apotheosis Veil only helps you push the advantage. The exotic helmet regenerates your health, melee, grenade, and rift energy whenever you activate your super. As an added perk, it’ll recharge your allies’ abilities faster.

In addition, Xur will also sell the following weapons each week as of The Witch Queen. They will have random rolls every week. Both guns cost 125,000 glimmer, 200 legendary shards, one exotic cipher, and one ascendant shard.

Hawkmoon: Hawkmoon was one of the best hand cannons in the first Destiny, and it’s still a beast in Destiny 2. When you get precision kills with this gun, you gain stacks of charges. The final shot in your clip will do more damage based on how many charges you have stored. Headshot a bunch of thralls, and your last shot will do mega-damage. You just can’t stow the weapon mid-clip or you’ll lose your stacks.

Dead Man’s Tale: Dead Man’s Tale is an exotic scout rifle with some similarities to Hawkmoon. If you chain precision hits together, you’ll cause more damage. That will also reduce your load speed, so you’ll want to keep a steady aim with this gun to get the most bang for your glimmer.
