Destiny 2: Where is Xur for the weekend of November 11

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items every Friday, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is, as well as a list of his wares.

Who is Xur?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week.

Where to find Xur (November 11 to November 15)

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET reset each Friday. The question is where Xur will be. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map. He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

This week, you can find Xur in Nessus, though he no longer appears on the barge. To find him, load into the Watcher’s Grave landing zone and look straight ahead. You’ll see a huge tree north of your starting position. Head over to it and climb onto its branches. You’ll find Xur up there standing on a wide branch.

Here is the exact location:

Xur’s wares for this week

Telesto – 29 Legendary Shards: Telesto is a fusion rifle with an explosive twist. This exotic shoots void projectiles that attach onto enemies and explode after a short delay. This essentially lets you tag players with a timed explosive, letting you safely disengage from a fight once you land your shot.

Knucklehead Radar (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: Knucklehead Radar gives Hunters a very simple, but useful perk. While wearing this exotic helmet, the game’s radar will remain on-screen while aiming down sights with your weapon. As an added bonus, the radar will also become visually enhanced while the player is crouching.

Khepri’s Horn (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: The Khepri’s Horn helmet is all about enabling your Barricade, as well as giving it a nice power boost. Getting Solar Damage kills will recharge your Barricade, which will also let off a blast o Solar energy when deployed.

Starfire Protocol (Warlock) – 23 Legendary Shards: If you like fusion grenades, Starfire Protocol is a suitable choice for your exotic. This chestpiece gives you an additional fusion grenade. On top of that, they’ll recharge from empowered weapon damage. Kills with fusion grenades will also grant rift energy, giving you a good set of perks while wearing this exotic.

In addition, Xur will also sell the following weapons each week as of The Witch Queen. They will have random rolls every week. Both guns cost 125,000 glimmer, 200 legendary shards, one exotic cipher, and one ascendant shard.

Hawkmoon: Hawkmoon was one of the best hand cannons in the first Destiny, and it’s still a beast in Destiny 2. When you get precision kills with this gun, you gain stacks of charges. The final shot in your clip will do more damage based on how many charges you have stored. Headshot a bunch of thralls, and your last shot will do mega-damage. You just can’t stow the weapon mid-clip or you’ll lose your stacks.

Dead Man’s Tale: Dead Man’s Tale is an exotic scout rifle with some similarities to Hawkmoon. If you chain precision hits together, you’ll cause more damage. That will also reduce your load speed, so you’ll want to keep a steady aim with this gun to get the most bang for your glimmer.
